Elise V. Bouchard
Attorney Elise V. Bouchard currently represents and counsels clients in the areas of estate planning, custody and divorce law, domestic violence, and civil litigation. Prior to moving back home to Florida in 2013, she was in-house counsel for a medical billing company and physician network nearby Charlotte, North Carolina. From 2014-2016, she practiced family law for a firm in Punta Gorda, Florida. Ms. Bouchard encourages client to consider collaborative or cooperative approaches to resolving their family issues, but she is also experienced to handle complex litigation when issues cannot be resolved between the parties.
Ms. Bouchard was born in Fort Myers, Florida, and grew up in Charlotte County. She earned her bachelor of arts in mass communications and political science and a master of arts in journalism and media studies, both from the University of South Florida. She earned her juris doctorate from North Carolina Central University while working at the State Legislature. Ms. Bouchard is a member of the Florida and North Carolina Bars.
In her commitment to serve her community, Ms. Bouchard acts as a board member of the Imagine Charter School at North Port and is a member at Edgewater Methodist Church. She is an active member of the Charlotte County Chamber of Commerce and a part of the Leadership Charlotte Class of 2018. She is also a member of the Charlotte County Collaborative Professionals and the Florida Academy of Collaborative Professionals.
amaris a. lewis
Attorney Amaris A. Lewis currently represents and counsels clients in the areas of juvenile dependency and family law. She joined Bouchard Law, P.A. in January 2018. Ms. Lewis is a valuable asset to our team.
Ms. Lewis currently works with the Regional Criminal and Civil Conflict Counsel for the Second District where she advocates for parents and other parties who currently have open dependency cases with the Department of Children and Families (DCF). Ms. Lewis is a fantastic advocate for parents going through tough and life-altering litigation.
Ms. Lewis is a graduate of Cleveland Marshall College of Law. She is also a fellow University of South Florida Bull, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in criminology. Ms. Lewis is a member of the Florida and Virginia Bars.
